Our purpose
LeaseNI is an independent website project being developed with a clear ambition: to make it easier for Northern Ireland motorists and businesses to understand vehicle leasing and, in the future, compare relevant offers from participating providers. The project is currently at the partnership exploration stage; we do not yet operate a live leasing comparison service.
Why Northern Ireland needs a dedicated focus
Vehicle leasing customers in Northern Ireland can face questions about delivery availability, vehicle registration, servicing arrangements, collection logistics and whether a mainland UK advertised offer is available locally. Our ambition is to bring these practical considerations into the customer experience from the outset.
Our long-term vision
Subject to commercial agreements, reliable data access and the appropriate regulatory arrangements, we intend to develop a comparison platform covering personal contract hire, business contract hire and potentially commercial vehicles. Users should be able to assess the total cost of a deal rather than relying on the headline monthly payment alone.
Our approach to transparency
We aim to identify participating providers, explain the nature of commercial relationships, disclose sponsored placement and present the key financial terms of offers clearly. We will not claim to cover the whole market unless our data supports that claim.
Where we are today
The current website introduces the concept and invites conversations with established vehicle leasing providers. It does not publish live quotations, accept finance applications, broker agreements or offer regulated consumer introductions.
